Heather Belzeski, M.A., LPC, NCC

Hello! I'm Heather, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a master's degree in professional counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have dedicated my career to providing compassionate and effective counseling services with a particular focus on children, adolescents, and young adults. I am passionate about helping children and parents navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional and behavioral regulation, social skills, and parenting challenges.

 

My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where my clients can openly explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I use a client-centered approach, incorporating techniques from play therapy, expressive arts, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

 

I understand that childhood can be filled with difficult emotions, and I am here to support your child in navigating these feelings. Together, we can work towards easing the tensions in your household and bringing greater peace to your child and your family.
