Hannah Christensen, M.S., LPC Associate
Hello! I'm honored to be part of your journey towards improved well-being. Seeking counseling takes courage, and I commend you for taking this step.
In my practice, I help individuals find their inner strength and overcome the challenges that trauma and anxiety bring. My academic background includes a master's degree with a focus on traditional talk therapy and art therapy. This unique blend allows me to incorporate both evidence-based therapeutic techniques and creative approaches to foster healing.
Talk therapy is the cornerstone of my counseling practice. Through open and non-judgmental conversations, we will explore the root causes of the issues that brought you to therapy. By creating a safe and confidential space, I encourage you to express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions freely. Together, we will develop coping strategies and resilience to navigate life's difficulties effectively.
As an art therapist, I recognize that traditional talk therapy may not resonate with everyone. Art therapy offers an alternative way to express and process emotions that words alone might struggle to convey. No artistic talent is needed; the focus is on the creative process rather than the end product. Engaging in art therapy can be liberating, allowing you to discover insights and healing in unexpected ways. Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
